Are you enjoying the sun, the sea and the beach but also want some adventure? The island has a lot to offer and you certainly want to look at it closer than from a plane or a boat. On this page you can check out some of the things you might like to do. Whether you are here for one day only or for two weeks, there are many options. Curaçao is one of the loveliest destinations you will visit during your cruise trip. We would like to show you the natural beauty of the island but, as you have only one day at your disposal, we have put together some special programs just for you. One example is a half day tour, morning or afternoon, leaving time to visit other places during the rest of the day.
Canoe/Kayak Safari
Paddling our sea-worthy and stable canoes/kayaks, you'll drift gently along the magnificent south coast of Band’Abou. A professional guide supervises you all the way. You will have plenty of time to enjoy the underwater world and the beauty of Curaçao's shoreline. We will take in the best snorkelling spots and visit three unspoiled beaches, stopping for a drink, some fruit and a refreshing swim. The whole trip is downstream. We do not go outside the ‘light blue’ water. You're looking for something different…? You'd like something exclusive…? Then join us on this unique canoe safari.

The canoe safari includes: transport (there and back), drinks, fruit, lifejackets, snorkels and professional supervision.

 Mountain Bike Tour
Ideal for sports lovers, this tour goes to Curaçao's National Park. We will ride our mountain bikes through the Christoffel Park visiting caves and Indian paintings, under the supervision of a professional guide. Together we will also explore one of the caves to look at stalactites and stalacmites. Later at Boca Grandi, to help us on our way, we’ll all get some fresh fruit. Don’t worry, of course we take Curaçao's heat into consideration. The actual biking distances are short and we will have sufficient refreshments with us during the tour.

Tours include: transport (there and back), drinks, fruit, mountain bikes, helmets, cave expeditions, entrance-fee to the Christoffel Park.
Minimum number to form a group: 10 persons.
If your group has less than 10 persons, you can rent individual mountain bikes, and go on your own. It is great to go exploring on a bike.

 Jeep Safari
We leave in convoy from Punda, driving across the impressive Juliana Bridge, through Otrabanda to Hato Airport. The first off-road part of the safari starts here. Continuing along the north-east coast of the Tera Cora plain, there are two stops during this stretch. We will explore a fascinating cave with the help of flashlights. Turning away from the Tera Cora plain, we continue driving in the Band’Abou area making for ‘Dokterstuin’. This part of the island is well known for its many little country tracks that are almost impassable. Leaving ‘Dokterstuin’ behind, we go to the Christoffel Park for a delicious ‘Cumida Krioyo’, a meal of local creole food! Then, it’s on to the beach at ‘Grote Knip’, visiting ‘Boca Tabla’ and ‘Watamula’ en route. A 45-minute rest at Grote Knip with plenty of time to go swimming and snorkelling and to enjoy this beautiful beach, a short siesta and we're ready to visit the San Juan Plantation. Here the off-road terrain includes a section which is off-limits to everyone but Dutch Dream. We will be driving up very steep hills and down precipitous slopes. From San Juan, we drive via the Willibrordus Saliña in the direction of Willemstad. Finally, we all make our way back to Punda and the Jeep Safari comes to an end.
Summing up, this is a fully organized day of excitement and discovery in Band’Abou!

Mountain bike tour
Our comfortable mountain bikes are ideal for riding through the Christoffel Park. A guide will tell you everything about the flora and fauna there. During the tour we will visit a 150 meter-deep cave, Indian paintings and the little bay called ‘Boca Grandi’ where there is a beautiful view of the park and the Caribbean Ocean. You can also rent a mountain bike for an individual tour, and go out on your own. It is great to go exploring on a bike.

Klein Curaçao (Island of Little Curaçao)
You can visit Curaçao's beautiful little neighbouring island with its snow-white beach and crystal clear water. A boat takes you there early in the morning and picks you up in the afternoon. Everything is taken care of: including food and drinks.
Every Sunday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Island Tour
An experienced guide will accompany you on this tour of the island. Visit the ostrich-farm, have a drink at the liqueur factory, go for a refreshing swim in the sea, and see how candy is made. Lunch will be at Jaanchi’s where good local food is served. Half-day tours are also available.

Maritime Walk through the City
The first part of this tour is an interesting walk through the harbour area and you will learn about Curaçao’s rich maritime history. Then you’ll visit the Maritime Museum to hear more about the city's past.

Walk through Otrabanda
Otrabanda, on the western side of Willemstad, is one of the most impressive historical neighbourhoods of the Caribbean. Here, you will join a walking tour to see the many beautifully restored buildings and residences. An architect or art historian, expert on traditional architure and the history of the island, will be your guide.

The Beach Express
The Beach Express is the island’s famous hand-painted colourful open-air bus that takes you to the far western end of the island called Band’Abou, renowned for its tropical beaches and crystal clear water.
